I'm a nurse, a parent of two Coyote Hill students, and I've lived in Area 3 for fourteen years. I'm running because the board should explain its decisions in plain English — and then keep its word.

Three things, done properly
Two of our five campuses have no crossing guard and no sidewalk on the approach road.
We lost eleven teachers to neighbouring districts in two years. Most cited pay and housing.
The budget is 140 pages. Nobody who isn't paid to read it reads it.

Meet Teresa
Registered nurse at the regional hospital for sixteen years. Coyote Hill parent since 2012 — one in middle school, one just started high school. Past PTA treasurer, current member of the district's Facilities Advisory Committee. She lives on the east side of Area 3 with her husband, Dan, and a dog that has opinions about the school bus.
